Powder brows

Powder brows

Powder brows, ombre Brows or ombre powder brows is the newest semi-permanent drawing technique that gives a soft, powdery look that subtly fills the eyebrows. They are ideal for people who have their own hairs but want a little extra definition without daily filling their brows with pencils and eyebrow shadows. It’s also a preferred technique for people with oily skin as they last longer than microblading.

The difference between microblading and powder technique is in the tool and the technique itself. When microblading, we use a manual tool to draw ‘hairs’ but powder brows are done with the help of an apparatus and a microneedle that leaves delicate dots, creating a perfect thickness and shape resembling a velvety texture.

Powder brows last for about 18 months, maximum up to 36 months.

Powder brows are recommended for all people, because of the fact that we can dose the density and amount of pixels. We are mainly guided by natural shadows of the eyebrows, which means that the lower part of the eyebrow is always thicker, ie more pronounced in relation to the upper part or the very beginning of the eyebrow.

In the first step we sketch the eyebrows, we use hand drawing. We use natural eyebrows as a guide, and we modify them to get the most perfect shape for the client’s face. Once we agree on the shape and thickness of the eyebrows we approach shading.
We choose the color according to the natural color of the eyebrows, skin color and hair color. We take into account the overall impression of your face and personality.

The pigmentation process is painless, does not cause bleeding or wounding of the skin. It’s currently the most sought after technique in the world of eyebrow shaping because it makes the eyebrows natural and accentuated, airy and long-lasting. The treatment is completely painless; before the treatment we use a local anesthetic that stays on the skin for about half an hour. Many clients opt for treatment without anesthetic. Due to the very thin and flexible needle and the extremely superficial pigmentation, the treatment is not painful in that case either.

After the first treatment, your eyebrows will look thicker and darker than the final result. Over the next 4 weeks, the color will be lighter 30-50%

Care after treatment – for the first 48 hours we advise you not to wet the eyebrow area, except during regular hygiene, where you will rinse your eyebrows only with water and dry them. It’s advisable to avoid the sun, sports activities and cosmetic treatments.
After 48 hours, you will apply the cream that you will receive after the treatment.
3 to 5 days after the treatment, the eyebrows will start to peel, let them peel naturally.
The peeling process takes almost a week, after which the peel will look much brighter than the final result. At times it may appear that the pigment has disappeared, it’s a completely normal process of skin healing. Over the next two weeks, the pigment becomes more visible and the eyebrows look defined.

After 4 weeks, a refresh is done during which the eyebrows can be further emphasized, thickened or darkened, depending on the client’s wishes.

The treatment is intended for all people who want to correct or fill in their own eyebrows. It’s also intended for people who suffer from alopecia and other conditions that cause the loss of natural hair.

Will my eyebrows look “fake”?

One of the most common misconceptions about semi-permanent makeup is that it will look like a tattoo – artificial and obvious. If you are in the hands of a professional make-up artist who specializes in semi-permanent make-up, this will not happen, but just the opposite. When applying semi-permanent make-up, special pigments are used, which achieve more subtle tones and a natural result. Unlike former drawing techniques, today’s techniques are less invasive, semi-permanent and natural.

A common question and fear are eyebrows in unwanted tones, red, blue, dark gray… Most often these are former pigments that tended to change tone when fading or due to excessive trauma to the skin due to unprofessional pigmentation.

Who should avoid powder brows treatment?

The treatment is not recommended for pregnant women and people who are prone to skin conditions in the eyebrow area.
